Sunday gatherings are the primary way we gather as a church. Our Sunday gatherings are a central part of who we are as a community following Jesus. We gather to worship together, learn the scriptures, receive communion, prayer for one another and make space to hear from the Holy Spirit. We want to both glorify God and grow in our faith together as a Church. We welcome anyone and everyone to attend.

Kids:
Our kids ministry is available during our gatherings for ages 0–grade 5. Upon arriving, head to the main entrance, and we'll happily show you how to check in your child. If this is your first time checking in your child, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get all set up.

All Church Prayer

Location: The River Community Church 889 E. Santa Clara St. Ventura, CA 93001
Date: Sundays
Time: 3:15pm

We believe in the power of prayer. We believe is anything of significance is going to happen, it is going to be birthed in prayer. We are inviting the people of Anthem to a time of prayer over our city, our church, and our gatherings.

All are welcomed and encouraged to participate as we respond to the leading of the Holy Spirit and pray for our leaders, teachers, servants, and all that God will be doing in and through our gatherings.

In Anthem Kids, our mission is to help kids find their way back to God, connect with others, and contribute to changing the world. We believe that kids have the capacity to walk intimately with God, and we love to see them learn about Him and connect with Him through Bible stories, songs, and crafts.

Curriculum

We use Tru, a dynamic, spiritually forming, and family-empowered ministry philosophy that offers a vibrant weekend curriculum, as well as other family resources that meet the specific needs of today's generation. Tru is uniquely created to inspire, equip, and support parents and church leaders in their ministry to children. Tru employs a family-empowered ministry model that is God-centered and spiritually forming—through two formats: large group/small group and classroom!

Safety

Every Sunday, we provide a safe environment for kids from birth through fifth grade where they can learn about Jesus and connect with each other. Every volunteer who leads in Kids has had a background check and is committed to making Kids a safe, Biblically relevant, and fun environment for your kids.

Check-In And Pick-Up

Each Sunday, you will need to check your child into Anthem Kids. Parents will use the check in stations, either a computer or an iPad, and print out a name tag and a claim tag will be given or printed for parents to present at Check-Out. This will include your child’s name as well as information regarding specific allergies. From there you will walk them to their age-specific classroom. When you return at the end of service you will Check-Out your child on the computer or iPad and then hand the claim tag to the teacher. If this is your first time checking in your child, we recommend arriving a bit early to get all squared away!

We believe that the church is the family of God. This means that everyone is gifted and responsible for different aspects of seeing the church thrive. We are a family, and like a family, we all pitch in.

We would love for everyone who calls Anthem their home to serve because we are a people who have been truly served by Jesus through His life, death, and resurrection. We have several different serve teams that would be incredibly blessed to have you join.
