Welcome to Anthem, a church community following Jesus in the beautiful city of Ventura, helping people find their way back to God.
We believe each person was made in the image of God and we want our friends, family, neighbors, and community to experience the transforming love of Jesus.
We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. At Anthem you’ll find a group of real people learning to follow Jesus together.
We believe everyone is welcome as they are to explore the good life Jesus so frequently teaches about. From the parking lot, to kids check-in, to grabbing a cup of coffee, you’ll find a community of people who are genuinely glad you’re here!

WHAT ARE SUNDAYS LIKE?
Sunday gatherings at Anthem are about 80-90 minutes in length. Our Sunday gatherings typically look like this:
We start with worship through singing. Lyrics are projects on screen - feel free to join in.
Someone will get up and share a quick welcome and a few next steps for those who are new to our church.
One of our pastors will share a teaching from the bible.
We end our gathering with responding to the word of God and the message of the gospel by: singing, receiving communion, giving, and praying for one another.
WHAT ABOUT MY KIDS?
Our kids ministry is available during our gatherings for infants–kindergarten. Upon arriving, head to the main entrance, and we'll happily show you how to check in your child. If this is your first time checking in your child, please arrive 10-15 minutes early to get all set up.
WHAT ABOUT PARKING?
We have dedicated parking right next to the venue, with an entrance on Santa Clara St. If you're coming from east of California street, the parking entrance will be on your left, if you're coming from west California street, the entrance will be on your right. Just look out for our parking signs!
The closest public parking lots are the free structure on California & Santa Clara and the free lots on Santa Clara street, plus there is no time limit for street parking on Sundays.
